Sydney - Bondi Beach - Cairns - Gold Coast Australia - Great Barrier Reef - Wildlife Currumbin Sanctuary


This photo is of a wonderful walk we went on just beyond the Bondi swimming pool.  It goes on for miles, all along the spectacular coast.

We arrived in Sydney mid- May so the weather was a little on the cool side.  I recommend a warm hat and jacket for the hop-on hop-off tour bus.  I highly recommend the tour bus.  We never would've been able to see as much as we did with out it.

We then moved up to Cairns to tour out to the Great Barrier Reef.  The cruise tour we went on was fantastic.  Evolution down under cruise and dive was the company (downundercruiseanddive.com.au).  I am a neurotic type of individual about my purse and passport.  OMG - They have security cameras on board.  I was so happy!!  Everything was perfect - the food - the crew - the boat - the reef.  Amazing!!!  They have snorkels, fins, and stinger suits for your use.


Now, I did mention it was Mid-May so the weather was a little chilly.  But the experience was breathtaking and wind doesn't matter when you put your face in the water.

Gold Coast is beautiful.  A wonderful vacation spot.  My favorite thing we did there was the Wildlife Currumbin Sanctuary.
We had photos with a koala.  Loved it.d

Canada! Oh Canada! Niagara Falls - Epic!!!

OMG!!  Niagara Falls is amazing!!  It was awe-inspiring.  There aren't enough words to describe how wonderfully beautiful it is.  I took many many photos but the one posted here is from the window table at the restaurant second level.  Magical.  Canadians are so proud of there falls, and rightly so.  I'm going to try to post a 12 sec video, so I hope it works. If given the opportunity to see this wondrous sight - do it. We were staying in Toronto downtown area, in late December.  Fairmont Royal York Hotel - Loved it. This is a photo of the hotel when we checked in at 11:00 pm.  Helpful hint they have room service at that hour.  Yay!! The hotel is located across the street from the train station and a few blocks from the CN tower. To get to Niagara Falls, we hiked up to the bus terminal and took a megabus to the falls.  It was reasonably priced. We thought this was cute.  Hiking up to bus terminal, here is an early morning photo of an ice rink.
