Hobbiton!  WOW!! I loved our tour from Auckland to Hobbiton - Glow Worm Cave (Waitomo)!!  It was a perfect day.  There was rain as we walked around Hobbiton which of course added to the charm of the entire countryside.  I could live there it was so perfect - and I love where I live. Look how beautiful everything is even in the rain.  The tour had employees meandering all around passing out umbrellas.  Loved it. The feast that the tour serves was also fantastic. It was a full day of touring from Auckland - Hobbiton - Glow Worm Cave (Waitomo)- Auckland. I am looking forward to going to New Zealand again and taking friends that have never seen this before. I am a huge fan now of the Lord of the Rings and I have yet to see any of the films.

I fell in love with New Zealand.  The beauty of the landscape and the warmth and charm of the people.  The photo above is on the tour from Coromandel to Cathedral Cove.  I love benches.  The destinations were fantastic but the stunning beauty of the countryside - just breathtaking!!!  And Green!! When we travel, we do not rent a car.  We are subject to busses, trains, and planes.  We arrived in Auckland at midnight and started our journey out to Coromandel to meet up with the tour to Cathedral Cove and the Hot Springs at 7:30am.  Not much time to sleep and check into our accommodations.  The 2 1/2 hour drive to Coromandel - I'll never forget it.  First half traversing the countryside and the second half right along the water.  Literally, the road had been partially washed out from a storm. Coromandel - is one of the most charming places I've ever been.  I have never felt so safe anywhere in my life.  The Olive Motel...
