Laguna Beach - Southern California - Travel


Laguna Beach is such a charming place.  Today I was able to join three swimming friends of mine for lunch at Las Brisas Restaurant on Cliff Drive.  As the street implies, it is on the cliffs and has a beautiful view.  The food and service was very good and in August the weather is perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the beach.  So a wonderful Sunday to enjoy the California Coast.

Tomorrow, I plan to have pictures from my walking path.  After lunch with friends, exercise is next on the calendar.

As the sign says Roger's Gardens has nursery, patio, landscape, home accents, gifts, and holiday items.  The Farmhouse is a restaurant located within Roger's Gardens.  The restaurant is fantastic.  Reservations are a good idea. The real beauty of the place are the many paths wondering through the nursery. There are so many little gems like the Farmhouse Restaurant in Newport Beach, it is fun to have a blog to show them off.

Singapore!!! OMG!!! It is Amazing!!

Singapore is absolutely beautiful.  It is even stunning in the middle of a thunder storm.  It is exceptionally clean.  We stayed at the fabulous Marina Bay Sands Hotel - Fantastic!!  I can't imagine staying any where else.  Although every place is probably just as lovely.  The hotel is perfectly located for viewing two different light shows every evening. The hotel has an infinity pool that goes along the connecting top floor of the hotel.  One light show takes place in the bay and the other light show takes place in the gardens on the opposite side of the hotel.  Both light shows perform twice a night.  We literally went from one to the other, we watched the famous metal palm trees show from the top deck of the hotel and then dashed to our room to see the light show on the bay. The photo shows the metal palm trees that light up at night to music. The palm trees are actually in the Gardens by the Bay.   It was truly magical.  I had seen the Bachelor season where they trav
