Tokyo Disney Seas and Tokyo Disneyland - Japan - Adventures Continued - Loved Them Both!!

Image
The weather was a little cloudy and cold at the time we were there.  This is the globe as you initially go through the entrance of Disney Seas.  We were there during Japan's Spring Break so it was crowed.  The crowds did not interfere with our fun.  Disney Seas is large enough to handle the masses.  The great thing about going to Disney Seas was that it was all new, not Japan's version of Anaheim's ride.  One thing that I thought was interesting was there was no park hopping.  In California if you pay a premium you can hop from Disneyland to California Adventure.  We bought a two day ticket - one day Disney Seas - next day Disneyland. My photos just don't due the parks justice.  But it is really fun for me to go through and relive the adventures of these beautiful parks. For anyone who as been to Anaheim Disneyland you have to admire the space.   We got a lot of steps in on this vacation.  Although I didn't take a photo of it there is a monorail that ci

Beautiful Day in Newport Harbor - Newport Beach - Orange County - California - Boating

Image
It was a gorgeous day!!  Sky was clear, wind was picking up and the engines were working.  Always a good thing. As you can see the wind was a little lighter when we started and by the time we were heading back to the slip it had picked up. We were able to accomplish our goal - so it was a very good day!!  When we were back in the dock slip we found out small craft warning was expected for later in the day.  So glad we got our work done early. The first photo is of the Pavilion.  I just love taking photos of it.  Ever since high school. If you ever make it to Newport Beach - I think one of the nicest places to walk is around the perimeter of Balboa Island.  You feel like you have the view of a bayfront  house without spending millions.

Hong Kong Disneyland - Hollywood Hotel - Such a Fun Adventure in Asia!!!

Image
Such an adventure!!!  I have been lucky enough to grow up in Southern California close to Disneyland in Anaheim, so you can only imagine the excitement of heading to Hong Kong Disneyland.  Oh My Goodness!!! We had so much fun.  Everyone was so delightful.  There were a lot of cast members that spoke English, so negotiating around was extremely easy.  The shows that we saw had the speaking parts in Chinese with English Subtitles to the side of the stage.  It was very easy to follow along.  I laughed when I realized all the songs were in English.  Very fun for us!! Winnie the Pooh is always a fan favorite.  It was in my opinion a much better ride than the Anaheim Winnie the Pooh and I do love the Anaheim ride. Mystic Manor and the little monkey Albert were adorable.  The ride was enchanting.  One of our other favorite rides was Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars.  Oh My Goodness!!!  I'm not going to give it away, but it was our favorite ride. Walker Canyon Trailhead - Lake Elsinore - California - Super Bloom 2019 (Mid-March) Breathtaking!!!

Image
We had never seen the super bloom before, so this was quite the experience for us.  We left our house extremely early one Saturday morning in hopes of beating the crowd.  Well, has it turned out we did beat the crowd, but we hadn't realized that when we first arrived.  It was crowded but it got a lot more crowed. We arrived before the sun was up.  That's important to know because the poppy aren't open yet.  If you take a close up look at the photo - you can see the parade of people walking on the path in the background. I was fighting a cold at the time and was a little concerned when I saw how steep the first segment was, but then it turned into a gradual up and down through the countryside.  Very Very Beautiful!!!  I enjoy taking photos but there were a lot of people taking selfies all dressed up looking lovely.  Sadly for them it was freezing but they endured for their selfies.  It was fun to see. I have grown up in the Southern California area and lived here al

Singapore!!! OMG!!! It is Amazing!!

Image
Singapore is absolutely beautiful.  It is even stunning in the middle of a thunder storm.  It is exceptionally clean.  We stayed at the fabulous Marina Bay Sands Hotel - Fantastic!!  I can't imagine staying any where else.  Although every place is probably just as lovely.  The hotel is perfectly located for viewing two different light shows every evening. The hotel has an infinity pool that goes along the connecting top floor of the hotel.  One light show takes place in the bay and the other light show takes place in the gardens on the opposite side of the hotel.  Both light shows perform twice a night.  We literally went from one to the other, we watched the famous metal palm trees show from the top deck of the hotel and then dashed to our room to see the light show on the bay. The photo shows the metal palm trees that light up at night to music. The palm trees are actually in the Gardens by the Bay.   It was truly magical.  I had seen the Bachelor season where they trav

Stagecoach Music Festival 2019 WOW!!!!

Image
Best Music Festival Ever!!!  Alright I'll be honest - It is the only one I've ever been to.  I loved everything about it.  I went with two friends substantially younger than me.  I thought it was going to be an endurance contest for me.  I was so wrong.  I wasn't even a country music fan.  I am not even sure why I went.  But I'm so glad I did.  BEST TIME EVER!!! Yes, it was hot.  Yes, it was dusty (everyone wears bandanas).  Yes, there was a ridiculous amount of walking.  But it was all great fun.  All the fans were great. Sam Hunt - fantastic Old Dominion - fantastic The photographers were epic.  The screens were so large and the resolution was so clear you felt like you were a VIP.  Even though there were 80,000 people there you always felt like you could see exactly what was going on on stage. Looking forward to next year already.  Highly recommend Stagecoach!!!
