New York City-Central Park-Rockefeller Center-One World Trade-Park Lane Hotel-The Plaza-Tavern on the Green-Empire State Building

Three days in New York City.  We squeezed in a lot.  We were lucky enough to get a great rate at the Park Lane Hotel, across the street from Central Park and adjacent to The Plaza Hotel. Rockefeller Center early morning before New Years Eve. Champagne at The Plaza Hotel.  Very special!! We did have to wait in line outside the front of the Plaza until space opened up in the Champagne Bar.  Totally worth it. Saw the play Waitress.  It was very entertaining.  Enjoyed immensely. Time Square before New Years Eve. And view from the Empire State Building. We were at the Empire State Building at 8:02.  No lines at that hour. Hope to make it back soon.

The hotel is located across the street from the train station and a few blocks from the CN tower. To get to Niagara Falls, we hiked up to the bus terminal and took a megabus to the falls.  It was reasonably priced. We thought this was cute.  Hiking up to bus terminal, h...
